From our central location, you can easily take day trips to explore the West Highlands, parts of the North Highlands, Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Inveraray, the Isles of Arran and Bute, as well as the beautiful Ayrshire region and many other destinations. So go ahead, leave your bags unpacked and enjoy your adventures at a relaxed pace.Fascadail Country Guest House, built in 1825 by a local doctor, later became home to his son, Barclay Henry—a renowned Scottish painter. During wartime, the property was used by the British Admiralty. After World War II, it was transformed into a bed and breakfast and continues to welcome guests to this day. Each room is inspired by Scottish wildlife, featuring themes like stags, deer, foxes, sheep, wolves, and Highland coos. From your window, enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, lush gardens, and the loch. Even on stormy days, Fascadail remains cosy, warm, and full of light—especially when the owners light the fire in the inviting family room.
